Showell Volunteer Fire Department

At approximately 0615 hours, Showell was alerted for a Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries at the intersection of Racetrack Road and Beachamp Road. Engine 803 responded followed by 800-A1 to the scene. 840 arrived on scene first to begin a patient assessment prior to units arrival. As units arrived, 850 took Racetrack Road Command. On scene EMT's found a patient with neck pain as well as pain on her side. After she was packaged and placed on a backboard, she was transported to AGH via 800-A1. After the medic unit cleared the scene, Engine 803 was placed in service and returned to station. Units on scene: Engine 803, 800-A1, 840, and the Maryland State Police.
