Showell Volunteer Fire Department

In the early afternoon of Friday, August 6th, Showell was alerted to respond to a reported motor vehicle accident on Route 610. As units 803 and Rescue 8 responded, dispatch advised that there was a report of a rollover. 824 took command as units arrived on scene to find a car rolled over with a patient laying next to the vehicle. The driver had managed to exit the vehicle with the help of a bystander. EMS personel began patient care and soon after 800-A2 arrived on the scene after returning from an EMS call earlier that day. Patient care was then transferred to the ambulance where the patient was transported to PRMC. Units cleared the scene and handed command over to Maryland State Police.
