Showell Volunteer Fire Department

At approximately 0823 hours Friday morning, Showell Fire Department was alerted for a Motor Vehicle Accident at the intersection of Route 113 and Old Worcester Highway. Engine 803, 800-Paramedic 1, and Rescue 8 responded to the scene. Upon arrival, crews found a truck that had ran off of the highway into a large ditch with airbags deployed. 841 took Worcester Highway Command. MSP was already on scene giving an initial assessment of the patient when Showell units arrived. After consult from on scene medics, the driver refused treatment and was not transported. The call was then handed over to the MSP and all Showell Units cleared and returned to station. Photos will be added soon.
