Showell Volunteer Fire Department

At around 0230 hours, Showell was alerted to assist Ocean Pines for a Car Fire with possible entrapment with 2 engines and a Tanker. Berlin was also asked to assist with the call. As firefighters arrived at Station 800, Ocean Pines cancelled the response for 2 engines, but instead only a Tanker from Showell. Tanker 8 responded to the scene and was told to hold their manpower with the tanker. Units from Ocean Pines, Berlin, and Showell assisted with the call and extinguished the vehicle fire. Ocean Pines command soon informed Worcester Central of one Priority 4 in the vehicle. The incident is under investigation.
