Showell Volunteer Fire Department

At 1203 hours on Wednesday, Showell was alerted for a Vehicle Fire on Sheppards Crossing Road. Engine 803 responded followed by 800 A-1 and arrived on scene to find a Farm Truck with fire under the hood and in the cab. A line was pulled off of 803 and firefighters began extinguishment. Engine 804 and Tanker 8 responded as well but were cancelled upon arrival to the scene. After the fire was extinguished, On-scene farmers towed the tractor into a nearby year. The call was transferred over to the Maryland State Police and units cleared the scene.
