At 1900 hours, our department arrived at a home Peerless Rd. to control burn a 2 story structure, while allowing members to have a good chance to learn about working structure fires. At approximately 1930 hours the structure was lit off by firefighter Joey Lessman. Along with the structure, an old motorhome was also burned with the supervision of the department. Firefighters and cadets were shown how to ventilate the roof of the building and were given a chance to watch how fire spreads throughout a home. Several hours later the structure had burned down to a point to where the homeowner could watch it himself and all units returned safely to the station.
