At approximately 0816 hours, Showell was alerted to respond to a reported Electrical Hazard at Showell Elementary School. Engine 803 and 800 A-2 responded to the call to find an electrical box on the south end of the building smoking heavily and 851 took Showell School Command. At this time Tanker 8 arrived on scene to assist with the call. Firefighters used a pressurized water can to extinguish the flames once all power was cut off from the electrical panel. After the fire was extinguished, command was transferred over to the Fire Marshall's Office and units cleared. The source of the cause is unknown. Units on scene: Engine 803, Tanker 8, and 800-Paramedic 2.
