Showell Volunteer Fire Department

At approximately 0841 hours, Showell was alerted for a Fire Alarm Activation in River Run. Crews quickly responded from the firehouse and arrived on scene to find a condo with the homeowner stating the alarm had been going off early this morning. Firefighters 833 and 819 entered the structure to investigate further with a gas meter. No sign of any toxic fumes were detected and the homeowner advised that the gas company had already been called. Units 803 and 800 A-1 were released from the scene and the call was terminated.
