Showell Volunteer Fire Department

Ocean City Chief 751 was first arriving with smoke showing and assumed command. Engine 803 was the first arriving engine and the crew stretched a line into the house to find smoke throughout. The fire was located in the laundry room and was extinguished by Engine 803’s crew. The cause of the fire is still unknown and is being investigated by the Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office.
