Showell Volunteer Fire Department

At approximately 1650 hours, Showell Fire Department was alerted for a motor vehicle accident with injuries at the address of 9631 Peerless Road. 800 Paramedic-1 was the first unit to the respond to the scene. Upon arrival, 850 met the ambulance and advised Worcester Central to have Trooper 4 respond with a Priority 2 Category B. Engine 803 responded and was advised to drive past the incident to set up a Landing Zone in a nearby field. Firefighter 833 took Landing Zone command and stood by until further. The patient was placed on a backboard and put into the ambulance. Rescue 8 and Utility 880 also responded to the scene to assist with operations. The medic on location advised to transport to PRMC via ambulance and to cancel any response from Trooper 4. Trooper 4 was cancelled and all units cleared after 800 Paramedic-1 transported to PRMC. Units on scene: 800 Paramedic-1, Engine 803, Rescue 8, and Utility 880.
