Showell Volunteer Fire Department

This year marked the second year of the Young Farmers Association Dinner held at the Showell Volunteer Fire Department. This year was an extra special event, with the dinner benefiting families being affected by corporations attacking local farmers over pollution and waste management. The dinner was held to help the families with lawyer and court costs in their troubled time. The dinner was a huge success and had a wonderful turnout. Showell members cooked Chicken, Dumplings, Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes,and other side items for the event, while members from the Young Farmers Association served the food to attendees.
