Showell Volunteer Fire Department

At approximately 1958 hours Wednesday evening, Showell was alerted to respond with 2 engines to 16 Juneway Lane to assist Ocean Pines with a Residential Structure Fire. Rescue Engine 11, Engine 1102, and 1100 Paramedic 2 arrived on scene and advised a light smoke in the residence. Engine 803 arrived on scene followed by Engine 804 and were asked to stage until further. Firefighters from Ocean Pines investigated and vented the structure. After ventilation was completed, Central was advised that units were "Ocean-King" on the scene and that all units could return when ready. Units on scene: 1100 Paramedic 2, Rescue Engine 11, Engine 1102, Engine 803, and Engine 804.
