Showell Volunteer Fire Department

This evening, units left the station to begin a drill at an abandoned warehouse at the intersection of Old Stage Road and 113. Crews took turns entering the structure with their Nomex hoods over their heads (To simulate a dark environment), and had to maneuver through the building to locate and disable a PASS device (To simulate a downed firefighter). After each operation, 1st Assistant Chief Bryan Bishop spoke with each team about what they could improve on as well as what skills were properly utilized.
