Showell Volunteer Fire Department

At approximately 2145 hours, Ocean Pines and Showell Fire Departments was alerted to respond to a Residential Structure Fire at 903 Ocean Parkway. Showell was asked to respond with 2 engines, so Engine 803 and Engine 804 began responding to the scene. 1152 arrived on scene with nothing evident, and asked all Showell Units to stage at Station 1100. Engine 803 and Engine 804 arrived on at Ocean Pines South Station. Not soon after, Command asked Engine 803 to respond to the scene to assist with Roof Operations. Engine 803 arrived on the scene and threw a ladder on the D side of the structure. After the roof was checked out with the assistance of a crew in the attic, it was believed that the problem was related to the air conditioning unit. Engine 803 along with all other units were released and returned to station.
