Showell Volunteer Fire Department

At approximately 2000 hours, Ocean Pines was alerted along with Showell Fire Department for a reported Residential Structure Fire at the address of 885 Ocean Parkway. Crews were already at the station since it was a drill night, so Engine 803 and Engine 804 quickly began responding to the scene. As units responded, Worcester Central reported that the caller stated their Microwave caught fire, and although there was smoke in the structure, the fire seemed to be out at the current time. Engine 1102 and 1100 Paramedic 2 arrived on scene first and advised there was nothing evident. Soon after they arrived, command advised that all units already on the scene would be sufficient. Engine 803 and Engine 804 returned to station.
