Showell Volunteer Fire Department

At approximately 1959 hours, Showell Fire Department was alerted for a Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries with a possible car on fire. As members arrived at the station, Worcester Central advised that no cars were on fire and there were a possible two patients. Engine 803, Rescue 8, and 800 Paramedic-1 arrived on scene and began assessing the situation. After on-scene medics inspected the people involved with the accident, the passengers refused treatment.No vehicles were severely damaged although there was a large amount of glass and debris in the roadway. Crews cleared the roadway and after all patients were checked and released all units cleared the scene and returned. Units on scene: Engine 803, Rescue 8, 800 Paramedic-1, Maryland State Police, and Worcester County Sheriffs. Photos will be posted soon.
