Showell Volunteer Fire Department

At approximately 1943 hours, Showell was alerted for a Motor Vehicle Accident in the Area of Nelson Road and Sheppards Crossing Road on a nearby Dirt Road. Engine 803 and 800 Paramedic 1 arrived on scene and began to assess the situation. Crews arrived to find a vehicle upside down in a ditch on fire, with the patients already out of the vehicle. Tanker 8 and Engine 804 responded as well and staged out on the roadway. Crews began to extinguish the fire as on scene medics began patient care for 2 male patients, who were eventually transported to AGH via 800- Paramedic 1. After the fire was extinguished, a tow truck responded to remove thje vehicle from the ditch.
