Showell Volunteer Fire Department

At approximately 0235 hours Saturday morning, Showell was alerted to assist Berlin with a Residential Structure Fire on Bay Street. Units responded to assist with fireground operations. Heavy fire was visible from the exterior of the structure from the roof area. Crews attempted to extinguish the fire from inside but we unable due to the location. A hole was cut in the roof of the structure and Berlin's Tower Truck was used to extinguish the flames from above.
