Showell Volunteer Fire Department

At approximately 0321 hours, Showell was alerted for a Motor Vehicle Accident with injuries reported at 9031 Whaleyville Road. Initially, Engine 803 was advised that there were not many details on the call, and after a callback units were informed it was a car vs a deer. Engine 803, Rescue 8, and 800 A-2 responded to the scene. Upon arrival, 833 took Whaleyville Road Command. 2 patients were in the vehicle, one refusal and one with a shoulder injury. The patient was loaded to a backboard and placed in the ambulance where she was transported to AGH. The call was then transferred over to Police Personnel and fire units cleared the scene.
