Showell Volunteer Fire Department

At approximately 0904 hours, Showell was alerted for a motor vehicle accident on Route 113 just north of Route 90. Engine 803, Rescue 8, and 800 A-1 responded to the scene to find a single vehicle off of the roadway. The car had hit a street pole and drove into the grass where the two patients awaited fire and EMS response. The two patients were checked by EMS personnel and refused treatment. The call was then handed over to the Worcester County Sheriffs Department and units cleared the scene.
