Showell Volunteer Fire Department

At approximately 0715 hours, Showell was alerted for a Motor Vehicle Accident reported as a vehicle vs pedestrian. 800 Paramedic 1 responded followed by Engine 803 arrived on the scene where 825 took Peerless Road command. Units found a 50 year old male lying on the side of the road with no visible injury. The driver of the vehicle stated that the patient was struck with the mirror of the vehicle as well as the window. The patient was placed on a backboard, strapped in, and transported to PRMC. Worcester County Sheriffs remained on scene to perform an investigation and Engine 803 cleared and returned to station.
