Showell Volunteer Fire Department

At 1915 hours, Showell and Willards Fire Departments were alerted to respond to a fully involved structure fire at 12405 Sheppards Crossing Rd. Willards arrived first on scene and confirmed the building was fully involved. Engine 803 responded to the scene followed by Tanker 8, Engine 804, Rescue 8, 800 A-2, and Utility 880. Chief 850 advised for Berlin to send one tanker to the scene to assist. As 850 arrived on scene, he established Sheppards Crossing Rd. Command. Firefighters quickly put a knock on fire and began to focus on essential parts of the structure. As the fire was extinguished, overhaul began. After overhaul was completed,Command deemed the scene safe for units to clear and all units returned back to station. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
