Showell Volunteer Fire Department

At 0654 hours, Showell was alerted for a fire alarm activation at Showell Elementary School. As units responded, Assistant Chief 851 arrived on scene and took Showell School Rd Command. Engine 803 and 800 A-1 arrived on the scene and entered the building to find an alarm sounding in the administrative division. Firefighters searched the building for any harms and deemed the call a false alarm. 851 advised that the power was out in the area at the current time and that this may be a cause of the activation. When a school official arrived on scene, 851 terminated command and placed all units back in service. Units on scene: Engine 803 and 800 A-1
