Control Burn Assisting Berlin - Assateague Rd.

Tanker 8 as well as Utility 880 assisted Berlin Fire Department with a controlled burning of 2 chicken houses off of Assateague Rd. Cadets were given the chance to learn firefighting techniques and learn helpful experience in the profession. Members watched nearby exposures and made sure the burn did not reach too high temperatures. The burning was determined safe for the homeowner to manage by Berlin personell and Showell units were released from the scene.
