To further educate members on department equipment. Joe Sinclair and David Smarte taught members how to properly use tools to better assist them on the fire scene. The first tool discussed was the Thermal Imaging Camera (TIC), where members were allowed to use the camera to see the differences in heat on various objects. After, David Smarte introduced the Gas Meter, which detects various gases and allowed firefighters to see the levels in a dangerous scenario.
