Showell Volunteer Fire Department

At approximately 1847 hours, Showell was alerted for an Electrical Hazard on Pitts Rd near the intersection to Campbelltown Rd. Crews quickly left the station and arrived on scene to see wires down blocking a driveway, as well as a leaning pole. Firefighters were able to learn from a nearby homeowner that a truck had nicked the wires, pulling then down with the pole. Members were able to determine that the lines were cable and telephone lines, and were able to terminate the call after notifying the proper authorities.
